Proverb's meaning
When people decide to do things, they should do them whole-heartedly. The Swahili are culturally Muslims, so the don't normally eat pig.

Kiswahili is spoken in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, DRC, Rwanda and Mozambique. In Uganda they say "If you must eat a frog, eat a fat one." Ugandans don't normally eat frogs.
