The Mandinka or Malinke live in the Gambia, Senegal, Mali and Guinea in West Africa. In Tanzania, they say "Little by little, a little becomes a lot". In Uganda they say "One by one makes a bundle". In Cameroon, they say "Small small is how the monkey caught the banana".
